Burnett & Williams nominated for Leesburg Biz Appreciation Award

The Leesburg Business Appreciation Award program is the town business community’s premier event. It celebrates the small business owners who are the backbone of our community and our nation’s economy. Andy Johnston, the Director of Loudoun Cares nominated Burnett & Williams for the Community Steward award that celebrates a for-profit business that participates actively in the community by contributing its resources. Peter Burnett has been nominated for the George A. Marshall Award which celebrates an individual who has demonstrated an exemplary commitment to the community above and beyond business contributions. Peter was honored with this award in 2003.

Nominees and award recipients will be recognized at the 8th Annual Business Appreciation Reception on Tuesday, May 19 2009 at the Thomas Birkby House. Businesses that have been operating in Leesburg for 25 or more years will also be recognized at the reception.
